In selected situations, we participate as an active co-shareholder in the company of our local partners in Asia: As an accelerator for young companies and as a strategic partner and companion for established ones. Our tasks include
- Strategic orientation and implementation plans, business plans
- Access to MRL’s networks to authorities, service providers and much more
- Support in the recruitment of managers
- Selection of the appropriate company form, registered office, etc.
- Negotiation of partner agreements, e.g. joint venture partners, distribution partners
- Ongoing monitoring of the investment.
Our interests are aligned with those of the majority shareholders of the Asian entity based in Europe. As a rule, we do not aim for an “exit”, but rather participate in the realized dividends.
